Mariya Pylypiv is an accomplished executive, thought leader, and strategist with demonstrated success across healthcare, technological, and financial services sectors. Dr.Pylypiv is a member of the board of directors of UpHealth Inc (NYSE: UPH), a digital healthcare services company she co-founded and took public via a SPAC transaction at a $1.2B valuation. Dr. Pylypiv held various finance and strategy positions throughout the process.
She has deep experience in raising capital and corporate development. Before her role in UpHealth, Dr. Pylypiv served as VP of Investment Banking and Corporate Development for a nationwide professional services firm and as a Senior Analyst developing global equity strategies for a quantitative machine learning hedge fund (AUM $350 million peak assets).
She has received her Ph.D. from Purdue University, her Bachelor’s and Master of Accounting and Audit from Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, and her Bachelor’s and Master of International Economics from Ternopil National Economic University.
